In early spring, Cambrian Solvents invited Tristan Henry to join us from France as an intern for 12 weeks. He is currently two years into a chemistry degree at the University of Nantes. As part of his education, the faculty of Nantes encouraged Tristan to seek some real-life work experience in the industry. He chose a chemistry and research project. This work experience in an international environment helped him to improve his spoken and written English.

French touch at Cambrian Solvents Limited
His UK internship experience will comprise part of his course work and enable him to complete his graduate studies. We have jointly developed a specific research project for him.
Tristan Henry commented:
“The field of chemistry and research has always pleased me. The goal is to accentuate the practical side of chemistry and materials in real cases. Another reason I have come to your company is because I think your field of activity is entirely coherent with my interests and future qualifications. Moreover, being able to go abroad for me was a chance not to be missed. So, I thank Cambrian Solvents again today for both trusting and supervising me with this project”.
We recognise that this is a compelling opportunity both for Tristan and for Cambrian Solvents. Therefore, we hope it encourages more students to reach out to do internships.
