As the weather improves, Cambrian Solvents would like to remind our customers of the importance of storing their chemicals in the correct manner. This is of particular importance for a product such as EFX Strip, which contains volatile solvents.
Raw materials in storage
Where possible, these products should be stored indoors, away from heat sources. As a minimum, they should be sheltered from direct sunlight to prevent any pressure build-up, which could result in ballooning of the containers.
It is good practice to check the drums regularly and to carefully release any pressure as soon as possible whilst taking adequate safety precautions.
